Many cores specs remain between generations but the Z2300 maintain the Z2200's THX certification and their speaker-frequency response, that being 35Hz to 20 KHz, the watts of the subwoofer came to 120 floor-trembling power. The head phone access is still offered by the remote and the standard volume control and sub. The design changed but the impression that it makes was that was more then just cosmetic. They now have a much sleeker look, the drivers for plug-style is still the same utilized but is it designed to even out the frequency response.

The drivers are smaller the the old ones coming to 2.5 inches but offer the same power and that being 80 watts or 40 watts per channel. The outer casing is visually appealing, its chrome black color scheme and the removable black dust covers making a sensation on the market and being ground setting on the artistic front. For the console owners this time Logitech Z2300 speakers are fully equip with a video game adapter. The first test that the speakers had to pass was the musical one and the public's opinion was that Arcade Fire's mp3 sounded extraordinary and loved the results. The guitar opening in the song sounded water clear and when the bass came in the speakers sounded off with excellent crunchy sound even at the maximum level.

The video test was also passed with a great mark, watching 'The lord of the Rings - The Two Towers and experiencing great battles scenes, every collision benefited from tremendous thud and the clarity was astonishing. The Logitech Z2300 speakers would not be the best that 5.1 surround kit but with the out put that it has sounds like the movie theatre quality that we all search.
All in all the z2300 speakers are a very good investment and the minor downs with the wiring and the angle of the speakers that it non-adjustable is brought to a minimum because of their accuracy and clarity. They are cheap and a great gadget around the computer.
