The Logitech® brand became famous due to their innovation in the mice field, which a better way of interacting with the PC. They appeared in 1981 and continued to expand, enlarging their expertise from computer mice to digital music field, home-entertainment system and the console games, while the company kept concerning about the PCs technological development: navigation, gaming, Internet communications, digital music and home-entertainment control.

Logitech® audio utilities consist in speakers, Wi- Fi music players, IPod/ Mp3 Docks, microphones and earphones.

Under the logo “Kiss mediocre computer audio good- bye”, the company affirms that it covers all the audio needs, from home, at work, or somewhere in between. Whether you are concerned about portability, a good bass or an all-around sound, it has it all. Their list contains speakers for the desktop, Headphone Jack, stereo and subwoofer 2.1, stereo 2.0, USB audio and surround 5.1.

When Logitech® speaks of portability, it has in mind the portable notebook speakers. If you want to go outside and still listen to some music, the Logitech® designed small and light portable notebook speakers.

Unlike most of the speakers that only give a good sound when one sits in front of them, the systems have a 360 degree sound, because they possess speakers forward and backward, which face one another.

The bass will completely changes the still water of one’s music, movies and games with its deep bass. For a better view of the reaction, the company suggests us to buy the 2.1 speaker system, with two satellites and a subwoofer. The all-around sound system has a center channel speaker, two front satellites, two back satellites and a subwoofer.

When in need of floating through your apartment, the brand considers that a 5.1 surround sound system is the one that fits your emotions.

Of course, if old- fashioned style is your kind of dish, Logitech® designed sound systems with “just the basics”. A 2.0 speaker system can offer you more sound and richer volume. It’s composed of two satellites, that do not take over the house or are hard to assembly.

After scouting on their official site, I found the forum of the Logitech® buyers, where I saw that the most encountered issue is with the Z5500 speaker system. The troubles with this system are varied: if one does not know what sound card to take for its new toy, another started hearing weird flick noise from time to time. Another problem with this audio system is that, after almost  a year and a half, that it makes disturbing “stutters” on a XFI platinum in the digital mode. The system appears to have hiccups, but the PC does not have anything. So far, it seems that the guys did not get any fair answers.

The Z5500 is described on Logitech® site as having a precise audio of 505 watts of all-around sound power. It has distortion-free bass, rich mids, slamming, good highs and it is made of a digital control panel, six inputs and a wireless remote.

On the overall ratings, it has five out of five stars, being “the best gift ever” (Martin from Mineral Wells, Texas), an “the best economy set” (MadDawg512) or “the best stereo system in the world” (doctor Bob from Chicago, Illinois)

Among the smallest and cheapest audio systems Logitech® owns is the Logitech® S120 speaker. This is a standard stereo speaker system that provides clear strong acoustic sound with low distortion. Concerning the design, the system is stern, with metal grille; the two satellites are rounded at the edges and were designed with 3 rubber feet per speaker for greater stability on the desk. It goes well with a quiet environment, a laptop or office desk and if you’re looking for something that does not empty your pockets, this is the right choice from Logitech® co.

You can not watch a movie, listen to some music, watch some videos or playing games in those conditions. If the PC has poor weak audio, it means that it needs new speakers. Once you have realized what sort of system suits you, everything goes smoothly, in waltz steps.
