In time, the standard number of HD televisions sizeable increased. The current standards are defined in ITU-R BT.709 as progressive lines or 1080 active interlaced lines or 720 progressive lines, using an image report of 16:9. The DTV nowadays require less bandwidth on account of digital video compression. The "high definition" term can refer either to those image resolution specifications or in general to those environments capable of rendering a similar image accuracy, like the cinema movie.
If we were to take Logitech® from the beginning of its time, we would begin with the mice technology they have developed. The brand was created in 1981 and it became the worldwide leader in this area, reinventing the mouse according to the ever newly upgraded computers. The company afterwards expanded their expertise in digital music, home-entertainment system field and the console games, but they never let the PC aside, concerning themselves about navigation, home-entertainment control, gaming, Internet communications and digital music.

Logitech® audio utilities consist in speakers, Wi- Fi music players, IPod/ Mp3 Docks, microphones and earphones.
Under the logo "Kiss mediocre computer audio good- bye", the company affirms that it covers all the audio needs, from home, at work, or somewhere in between. Whether you are concerned about portability, a good bass or an all-around sound, it has it all. Their list contains speakers for the desktop, Headphone Jack, stereo and subwoofer 2.1, stereo 2.0, USB audio and surround 5.1.
Unfortunately, Logitech does not have such things as HDTV speakers. Their set of audio speakers match with PCs or Macs, Digital (MP3) music player, PlayStation®, PlayStation®2, PLAYSTATION®3, CD players, DVD players and Xbox®, Xbox 360TM or game consoles.

For a high definition television to accept computer speakers, one must make sure the receiver he wants to utilize got Stereo RCA (white /red) outputs, because the inputs are worthless in this case. If the HD television possesses the RCA outputs, than you have to purchase a Stereo Mini to the cable. The job is done after you plug the Stereo Mini to the cable and the RCA ends into your TV.
Logitech's Z Cinema 180-watt desktop speaker system uses an eight-inch subwoofer, two-way satellite speakers and a three-amplifier design to facsimile clear crystal sounds. According to the users, the system could be used not only for the PC, but also for a HDTV, because the 5.1 digital input signal is inconspicuous and the TruSurround SRS fills the room no matter where you are, without the help of extra speakers or the center channel. The Z Cinema connects with USB for 24-bit sound, has a convenient headphone jack and comes with a Media Center remote. Logitech® Z Cinema Advanced Surround Sound System possesses a 360-degree theater sound. More, it has laser-tuned drivers, that provide less sound distortion. This audio system is great when you want a surround sound, but you do not have enough space in the house.
All in all, Logitech designed an universal remote compatible with any HDTV or PVR, even if they are complicated. The Harmony 880 Remote is needy when you have problems like adjusting your television between the aspect ratios of the video. It has a color display that allows you to pick a 4:3 ratio for basic television programming or a 16:9 ratio for HDTV and movies. It tracks the actual state of up to 15 devices simultaneously whilst controlling separate components.

As a consumer states, people need to achieve a home theater receiver when they usually want surround sound. In order to get it, they can hook up six pieces into only one and that is how they have a surround system. The bad part is that the TV's audio coming is not coded for surround, so the sound will only be heard from the left and right channels.
