KEF Kit120
Published by Bogdan Alex, on April 2nd, 2008, in the categories: KEF
The Kit120 system from KEF is able to provide surround sound from just two speakers by combining vertical NXT radiators that generate rear effects channels, phantom centre speakers and the proprietary wide dispersion Uni-Q driver array. Don’t waste your money on 20.2 surround systems, just get the innovative kit120, which embraces you in a truly three-dimensional soundfield. It also comes complete with a powered subwoofer, a matching DVD/CD player incorporating HDMI technology and a remote control.
Here are some interesting facts about the Uni-Q technology. This patented driver array is using aerospace materials to allow the tweeter to be mounted at the acoustic centre of the midrange cone, in order to create a single point source. This is what gives KEF loudspeakers exceptionally wide dispersion characteristics, with everyone in the room experiencing the same clear, accurate sound image.
