JBL Project Array

I almost forgot about JBL, I used to have a nice 2.1 audio system from JBL back in 1999. However, these guys don’t complicate their existence with desktop PC speakers too much. They got the home theatre and professional series that really impress. One of these impressive systems is the JBL Array Series.

JBL Array Series floorstanding loudspeakers integrate advanced technologies such as the Aquaplas-treated high-frequency transducers and titanium-diaphragm ultrahigh-frequency drivers placed i an extremely dense and rigid freestanding horn.

With the unconventional look of the horn assembly, the speakers are able to produce some outstanding sounds like brilliantly clean highs up to 40kHz. Couple all this with a fast mid- to high-frequency compression driver and you got yourselves a professional system dubbed Project Array. This is the latest innovation of Greg Timbers, JBL’s chief systems engineer, who has been behind many acclaimed and award-winning loudspeakers over the years, including the 4300 monitors and Project K2.

Here are some other highlights of Project Array:

- CLASSIC JBL LOW-FREQUENCY DRIVER
- UNIQUE ENCLOSURE
- UNIQUE SYSTEM INTEGRATION
- REAL-TIME FFT LASER VIBROMETRY
- ACOUSTICALLY PERFECT ANECHOIC CHAMBERS
- MULTIAXIS ANALYSIS.
