The entire series is aimed at audiophiles and movie lovers alike, comprising five kinds of speakers:
- A 407 is the slim and tall floor-standing model pictured above. This speaker is responsible for the center channel in a multi-channel surround sound system. For hi-fi sounds, it integrates a 1” woven textile dome tweeter plus four 3” mid/bass drivers.
- A 405 – this is your usual satellite speaker, which includes three drive units inside (a tweeter plus two bass/mid drivers). What sets these speakers apart is the special design that allows you to place them on a shelf or mount them on walls. Jamo’s audio packages will come with a varied number of A 405 speakers.
- A 402 – the smaller version of A 405, this is an ideal wall-mountable satellite speaker, Although said to be the smallest in the series, Jamo assures a high-level quality sound from a single coaxial 3in driver.
- A 400 CEN - the dialogue speaker. It is practically the same with A 405 but is designed to allow for horizontal mounting, either on a shelf or a wall.
- A 400 SUB - the subwoofer of the pack. This reflex-ported cube can output a total of 200W RMS of power with the aid of an 8” bass drive, completing the surround array.
The speakers will be available in three 5.1-channel packages, prices ranging from £400 for the entry-level option, to £700 for the premium solution.
