Anyway, just the 2 speakers will stand on your desk, and the subwoofer will be placed under your desk, so it won’t take such a lot of space. But if you have special mounting places in the wall, you can buy some in-wall or in-ceiling speakers. They will be placed in the special places from the wall or ceiling, and they practically won’t take any space in your room. And they will also offer you a nice sound, that will come from above you or from the sides.



Now let’s get back to the speakers that stay on your desk…or at least on the floor. If space is not such a big issue and it’s ok for you to have 6 speakers and a few more wires in the room, then you can choose to buy a 5.1 audio system. As we said it has 6 components, and these are: a center channel, a subwoofer and 4 satellite speakers. They all will be placed around the room this way: the center channel in front of you, the subwoofer under the desk, and a satellite speaker in each corner of the room. Thanks to this placement you will be able to enjoy some great surround feelings, such as the feeling of someone being behind you when watching a movie or playing a video game. And thanks to all of the components a 5.1 system will offer you a great sound that is rich and contains all the sound frequencies.
