REL Acoustics is a British company that primarily specializes in subwoofer technologies. It is a rather new company, but its products have already gained popularity among the audiophiles. The company has a wide variety of subwoofers, but I think the T-series stands out as the most representative array.

Looking at the design of T-Series, we can instantly realize that the array is specifically built for performance-oriented audiophiles. REL explains that the perimeter rails that define and support the unit are necessary to provide sufficient elevation to allow proper release of the low bass pressure wave. One can easily notice the prominently curved dome of the grille. This is not introduced for design purposes only, it really comes in handy when coupled with the ultra long throw (ULT) driver’s travel.
