These British manufactures sure have a thing for expensive speakers. Verity didn’t impress you that much… OK, let’s try something more enticing. Like Median’s DSP7200 models.

Meridian decided to upgrade their hi-fi speakers with four new driver units that are each served by its own 100-watt amplifier channels. Meridian's even though that the inclusion of the SpeakerLink technology would make the system more appealing to hi-fi enthusiasts.

The new models also have active Bessel low-frequency alignment giving the user exact timing and coherence, noticeable in bass-heavy tracks. Other outstanding specs include the already mentioned four 100-watt amplifiers, which drive two 8-inch long-throw bass units that are actually contained within the system's base. In the upper part of the speakers there’s a 6-inch midrange unit which is the same featured in the DSP8000s and a 1-inch tweeter.

Wait, wait! You actually find these speakers cool enough to suit your entertainment system? Good choice, these beauties will set you back $34,995. Are you sure you don’t want to check the DSP8000 series?
