The Ferguson Hill horn loudspeakers are from the coolest models, coming with large crystal-like transparent horns which would change your room’s aspect completely and will also impress all your visitors.
They are full range units ranging from 150Hz to 20KHz and need a sub bass unit below 150Hz with level control.
With no crossover they are capable of producing a very clear sound with high details and dynamics and with just 5 Watts they can go loud, although they are built with simple amplifier circuits.
The loudspeakers are sustained by welded stainless steel stands that are satin polished to get a stylish aspect, having internal damping and integral spikes, while under they have floor protection discs.
The transparent horns are made of toughened cast acrylic of 8 mm thick while the ring and phase plug are built from aluminum alloy with a protective anodished external layer.
Ferguson Hill recommends 3-50 Watts amplifier power, and the use as low power valve amps and transistor amplifiers.
Among the other features there is a modified Lowther DX3 full range driver modified, 1M/1KHz/1 Watt 100db sensitivity, 8 Ohms impedance, and the dimensions: 1.65 m height, 0.92 m width, 0.72 m depth and 27Kg each loudspeaker without damping fill.
The price for this system is as impressive as its design, reaching $19,556.
