The speakers had evolved a  lot in the last decades, and today they are capable of bringing a high quality sound and they don’t even have to be so large. But not only the home user or professional (stages, concerts etc.) speakers had evolved, but also the automotive industry speakers. Since more and more people were using a car, they also wanted to enjoy some music while driving. Many years ago people were just listening to the radio, so there was no need for powerful speakers. But since the cassette recorders, and today the CD-s and DVD-s become famous, and people were listening to their favorite style of music  they also wanted a much more powerful system to their car. Most of the cars come with a default set of stereo speakers, but the more expensive models have 4 or more speakers, and some even come with car subwoofers. But if your car has just 2 speakers, you can always put more of them on the car, add a subwoofer for a bigger bass or add other type of accessories.

But today we won’t talk about some expensive and fancy audio equipments for a car, and we’ll present some models of cheap car stereo speakers. There are many of them on the market, and it is always best to search for the best deal. You can visit many retail stores and see which has the best prices, or simply visit many sites on the internet, and see where they are the cheapest.

Today we’ll talk about some cheap car speakers found on shopping.com site. The first model is the Pyramid 558 GS Coaxial car speaker, for the price of 12 dollars. As the name says these are Coaxial speakers with 5 inch black poly resin coated woofer cone 40 oz. , 1 inch high temperature ferro fluid enhanced voice coil. The speakers also has a 1.75 inch  aluminum tweeter. The total peak power is 180 watts and the impedance is 4 ohm. The speaker has a frequency response between 90 and 18.000 hertz meaning that it will give a nice sound, with quite a good bass and clear high sounds. It has a 1.88 inch mounting depth.

Some pretty similar but better speakers are the Pyramid 693, and they are also coaxial speakers. They are 6 inch x 9 inch three-way speaker with a tweeter and a mid-range woofer. The peak power handling is better than the previous speaker, and it is 200 watts RMS. The impedance is also 4 ohm but the frequency response is slightly  bigger, from 80 hz to 19.000 hertz. So they will sound a little better than the previous speaker, but they are also about 10 dollars more expensive. The prices are varying between 20 and 27 dollars, depending where you get them from.

Let’s discuss one more speaker from the Pyramid series, the 4103 SX Coaxial speakers. The price is pretty much the same as the previous (22 – 27 dollars) and they also have a tweeter and a mid range speaker. The size is slightly bigger 4 inch x 10 inch, and the frequency response is quite similar : 80 to 16.000 hertz . But the difference lies in the peak power handling, which for these speakers is 300 watts. So they will be quite powerful and bring a very nice sound to your car.



Some cool looking and pretty cheap car speakers are the Volfenhag ZX 832 R, which are also coaxial. The price for these is 25 dollars, and they have a size of 3.5 inch. They also feature a tweeter and a mid range speaker, but the bass response is not so good because the frequency response starts from 100 hz. So you might want to combine these speakers with a subwoofer, to have the whole range of sounds. But the high sounds will be very good, because the frequency response goes all the way up to 20.000 hertz. The tweeter has a size of 0.5 inch and the woofer is made out of poly / plastic. The sensitivity for them is 90 db and the impedance 4 ohm dual coil.

The next car speakers we’ll be talking about are the Power Acoustik KP 694 coaxial speakers, and they also cost under 30 dollars (28 or 29 dollars). They have a six inch x 9 inch size and they have a dome tweeter and a plastic woofer. They are non-enclosure and  non-powered speakers and the peak power handling is quite good: 280 watts. Also the frequency response is really good, from 50 hz to 20.000  hz. So this means that these speakers will give a great bass to your music, and also some clear mid range and high sounds. The sensitivity is 92  db and the impedance 4 ohm.



So let’s discuss about one more type of speakers from the site, and we’ll choose the Kenwood KFC 1651 S car speakers. They cost about 23 dollars and have a size of 6.5 inch x 6.5 inch. This speaker will distribute the beats with 160 watts of peak power and 35 watts of nominal power. The frequency response is really good, from as low as 35 hz to 20.000 hz,  and the sensitivity is 92 db. And beside all of this, they are also good looking speakers. So enjoy them!

So these were just some cheap car stereo speakers, but of course there are so many more on the market. Just search for the best deal in price, and for the best product to suit your music tastes. For example if you like house music or hip hop you might look for some speakers with a good bass response.
