Ever dreamed yourself as a starship commander? Now you can turn any room in your house into a sci-fi interior and command entire battalions of UFOs whenever you please with the outstanding Bang & Olufsen products. Especially the new BeoLab 9 loudspeakers that look like alien technology all the way.

You know the Danish designers are renowned for their inventive devices and BeoLab 9 is no exception in any way. The pleasing organic form of BeoLab 9 gives us a clue about the incredible hidden functions of the 80 cm high devices. According to Bang & Olufsen “the shape is designed around the sound to ensure an absolute minimum of distortion and a maximum of depth and detail. There are no superfluous bells and whistles, just honest materials serving their purpose while looking good in themselves.” These Danish guys can take on poetry any time, too.

Among the host of peculiarities of BeoLab 9 we find an acoustic lens head, made from machined aluminum and solid cast zinc with a durable matt chromium finish. These speakers can even change clothes to suit the mood of your room as you choose from four different cover colors (black, dark grey, blue and red). This cover protects the metal grills in front of the speaker drivers to soften and give an impression of robustness.

So as to give us a a general idea, Bang & Olufsen states that by Using BeoLab 9 as front, side and rear speakers would bring a total output of 2400 watts RMS of bass and harmonic power. Powerful enough for your spaceship interior, but you always keep in mind that Danish things come at great a price.
