Comparatively to other tower speakers, Axiom M60V3 requires more care during setup and initial installation than any other tower speakers. It delivers bass up to 40 to 80 Hz, so always try to place the speakers at some distance from the wall behind it or else bass of the speaker will sound boomy to the listeners. Even if you are sitting far from the speakers, you would not be able to listen to music clearly. One can adjust the treble of the speakers depending upon the choice. If you want you can mount the speakers at any angle you wish to or make them point towards your listening area of the room.
Even if you don’t do any kind of experiments with this speaker, you will find its music favourable to your ears. Treble quality is smooth and clear. If you are watching any movie and have plugged in Axiom M60 V3 speakers, you will find that this speaker works as a surround sound system. The only problem with tower speaker while watching movie is their placement. You have to set them at some place so that treble and midrange sound right and even bass should play okay. If you watch movies like Star Wars: Attack of the clones, you may find bass quality a bit heavy.
Designers of Axiom M60 V3 have really worked hard in order to make this tower speaker. One may experience that extra level of excitement after hearing the quality of music coming out of this exotic design tower speaker. I will definitely suggest this speaker to anyone, right from the person who is looking for speaker that has to be perfect for watching movies to the person who are looking for such speakers to listen smooth and soft vocal music. When the frequency response curve of this tower speaker was calculated by its designers, result was quite favourable. M60 V3 got beautiful measure of frequency response except for the treble portion where you may notice that the sound changes when you move off-axis. At 500 Hz, you may feel sound quality a bit bumpy that may be because of floor bounce at such high level of bass.
Addition of grilles to the speakers does not make any much difference as the frequency response with and without grilles was found almost identical. One may not find M60 V3 tower speakers as easy to use as expected. At 90 dB, sensitivity of this speaker is quite good while impedance is average at 9 ohms and can touch the minimum level of 5.0 ohms. If you want you can even attach radio to this speaker and can enjoy your favourite tracks online.
For those who have good knowledge and experience of tower speakers, Axiom M60 V3 will definitely put you in state of desperation to consider this speaker for your home.
