Avalon Acoustics Opus

Remember the Avalon Sentinel loudspeaker? A cool design, but way too expensive for the usual audiophile and aesthetics attained through uncompromising dedication to the highest quality standards. Avalon also has a more “affordable” model for us – the Opus.
Opus is a four-way design, utilizing a high-definition down-firing subwoofer. Benefiting from Avalon’s proprietary driver/cabinet alignment, the subwoofer achieves superb low frequency support that is smooth, evenly dispersed, and extremely accurate. Avalon further boasts that dynamic testing has yielded unsurpassed octace-to-octave energy balance, without compression, under the most demanding program conditions. The ingenious design of the cabinet confers low noise floor ambience retrieval, coupled with transient speed and resolution. Opus is thus able to reveal the subtle details of the recording site and the artist's performance.
Check out some of the highlights:
- Frequency response: 28Hz to 24kHz
- Sensitivity :87 dB
- Nominal impedance: 5 ohms
- Recommended amplification: 30 to 300 watts
- Speakers type :Floor
- Dimensions: 1042(H) x 254(W) x 407(D)mm
