Creative GigaWorks T40
Published by Sierra, on July 16th, 2008, in the categories: Creative

Coming from the worldwide leader in digital entertainment solutions, including the Sound Blaster computer sound cards and web cameras producing sharpest images, the Creative GigaWorks T40 speakers are from the best systems used to boost the sounds while playing PC games or listening to the music. Why? Because the speakers integrate high-grade woofers with woven glass fiber cones, and high-quality tweeter with a cloth dome for crystal clear sounds, increasing the resistance at humidity and temperature changes.
The midrange-tweeter-midrange driver configuration, which enhances the sonic spectral balance, delivers original natural sounds with deeper and richer bass effects. Known also as the D'Appolito Configuration, MTM consists of 2 woofer drivers placed vertically above and below the tweeter and the 18dB/octave crossover, to eliminate sudden changes in directivity with frequency.

With the BasXPort technology, the lower mid range tones and the front-mounted controls are significantly enhanced by channeling sound waves from the inner chambers of the speakers, making it easy to adjust the volume, bass and treble. It basically eliminates the need for a physical subwoofer.
Creative computer speakers also feature a headphone output so you can listen high-bass music privately.

Creative GigaWorks T40 desktop speakers have a power of 14 Watts RMS per each of the two channels, and 50Hz ~ 20kHz frequency response.
Their design is slim and compact, with a stylish black finish, so they won’t occupy too much space on a desk, near your monitor, and support connectivity with gaming consoles and television.
Creative computer speakers measuring 15 x 11.6 x 32 cm are available at a price of $150, together with a 2-meter stereo-to-stereo cable, Dual RCA-to-stereo adapter for the TV, the power supply adapter, a quick start guide, and 1 year warranty.
